Arizona School Tax Credit
Here’s an easy way to benefit your income taxes AND your child’s school.
The Arizona School Tax Credit lets your donation go directly to a public school of your choice! A tax credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction of your tax liability. Until this law was passed, you had little choice as to how your state tax dollars were spent. At last, you have an opportunity to make certain that it goes directly to educational programs that benefit children.
It won’t cost you a dime. You contribute to the MCSF E-Fund and claim the entire amount on your Arizona state tax return — and then get it all back in the form of a tax credit.
What you can contribute
Married filing jointly: $400 maximum
Individual filing single: $200 maximum
You may donate any portion of those amounts up to your tax liability, which must be equal to or greater than the amount of your contribution. For your convenience, you may make several payments throughout the year.
Here’s how to do it — it’s easy!
1. Make out your check to “MCSF E-Fund.”
2. Print out the form below, and complete it.
3. Mail or deliver your check and your form to us.
4. File your Arizona taxes and claim your credit using Form 322.
We will mail or send home with your student a receipt for your donation in January.
Please remember, the deadline is April 15th the following year.
Thank you!
The form may be printed or e-mailed by clicking either of the two icons to the right of the form below.
